THE DULZURA DESPERADOS WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR OR ANY OTHER HOLIDAY YOU MIGHT CELEBRATE.
Nineteen Desperados came to celebrate the festivities with the clank of steel and the smell of gun smoke (particularly Cap n Ball Turmoil who really smoked up the place).
We welcomed Rowdy Roper who participated in his first match and welcomed back, Descanso who has been absent from here for a fair amount of time.
J. B. Corn provided an interesting set of scenarios including one where the Grinch was holding Santa as a shield. Fortunately for all, Santa made it through without a scratch.
While waiting for the math result the posse bellied up to the bar for a cool, refreshing sarsaparilla while Clint Steele was passing out Christmas stockings to all the good little desperados.
The Top Three Shooters were:
First Place: Clint Steele
Second Place: J. B. Corn
Third Place: Descanso
There were 2 Clean Match Shooters: Clint Steele and J. B. Corn.
There were three shooters that hit the turkey. Cheeseburger Fred won the drawing for the $35 Von’s gift certificate (turkey) and Anchor Clanker won the $15 Von’s gift certificate as a consolation prize for those who missed the turkey.
As always, a big tip of the sombrero for those who helped with the setup and teardown of the scenarios. Also, a thank you to all who pitched in to help with the various jobs that are needed to be done in order to have a smooth-running match.
