STAGE 1 –

Pistols: Loaded with 5 rounds each, holstered with hammer down on an empty chamber.
Rifle: Loaded with 10 rounds, staged safely with action closed on an empty chamber and hammer down.
Shotgun: Open and empty, staged safely with 4+ rounds on person.
Start:

Gun order is shooter’s choice, except that the rifle cannot be last. 

Shooter starts behind Table 1 or 2 with hands relaxed at sides.

 

Shooter signifies ready by saying the line:                            

“You’re all goin’ down!”

Pistols:

Draw pistols in accordance with your category and engage the pistol plate rack from Table 1 from either direction.  You can take up to 10 shots to knock the 5 plates down.  After the 5 plates are down, dump any remaining rounds on any of the static pistol targets.  A plate left standing or a miss on a static target counts as a miss.  Holster empty pistols.

Rifle:

Retrieve the rifle and engage the rifle plate rack from Table 2.  You can take up to 10 shots to knock the 5 plates down.  After the 5 plates are down, dump any remaining rounds on any of the static rifle targets.  A plate left standing or a miss on a static target counts as a miss.  Make rifle safe.

Shotgun:

Retrieve the shotgun.  From Table 2, engage the shotgun targets in any order until down.  Make shotgun safe.

 

When finished shooting, retrieve guns and proceed to the unloading table.

  STAGE 2 – 

Pistols:Loaded with 5 rounds each, holstered with hammer down on an empty chamber.
Rifle:Loaded with 10 rounds, staged safely with action closed on an empty chamber and hammer down.
Shotgun:Open and empty, staged safely with 4+ rounds on person.
Start:Gun order is shooter’s choice, except that the rifle cannot be last.
Shooter starts behind Table 1 or 2 with strong hand pointing at first target you will engage.
Shooter signifies ready by saying the line:
Hold it right there!
Pistols:Draw pistols in accordance with your category and engage the four static pistol targets from Table 1 with a Lawrence Welk sweep.  That is: one on P1, two on P2, three on P3, and four on P4 (P1, P2-P2, P3-P3-P3, P4-P4-P4-P4.)  Holster empty pistols.
Rifle:Retrieve the rifle and engage the four static rifle targets from Table 2 with a Lawrence Welk sweep.  That is: one on R1, two on R2, three on R3, and four on R4 (R1, R2-R2, R3-R3-R3, R4-R4-R4-R4.)  Make rifle safe.
Shotgun:Retrieve the shotgun.  From Table 2, engage the shotgun targets in any order until down.  Make shotgun safe.
When finished shooting, retrieve guns and proceed to the unloading table.

 STAGE 3 –  

Pistols:Loaded with 5 rounds each, holstered with hammer down on an empty chamber.
Rifle:Loaded with 10 rounds, staged safely with action closed on an empty chamber and hammer down.
Shotgun:Open and empty, staged safely with 4+ rounds on person.
Start: Gun order is shooter’s choice, except that the rifle cannot be last.
Shooter starts behind Table 1 or 2 with hands on hips.
Shooter signifies ready by saying the line:
I don’t take that from anyone!
Pistols:Draw pistols in accordance with your category and engage the pistol targets from Table 1 by alternating between the plate rack and any one (or more) of the static pistol targets for 10 rounds.  Shooter can start with either the plate rack or a static target. (Example: Plate1-P2, Plate 2-P2, Plate3; P3-Plate4, P3-Plate5, P3.)  A miss on a static target or a plate left standing is a miss.  Holster empty pistols.
Rifle: Retrieve the rifle and engage the rifle targets from Table 2 by alternating between the plate rack and any one (or more) of the static rifle targets for 10 rounds.  Shooter can start with either the plate rack or a static target.  (Example: R2-Plate1, R2-Plate 2, R2-Plate3, R2-Plate4, R2-Plate5.)  A miss on a static target or a plate left standing is a miss.   Make rifle safe.
Shotgun:Retrieve the shotgun.  From Table 2, engage the shotgun targets in any order until down.  Make shotgun safe.
When finished shooting, retrieve guns and proceed to the unloading table.

 STAGE 4 – 

Pistols: Loaded with 5 rounds each, holstered with hammer down on an empty chamber.
Rifle: Loaded with 10 rounds, staged safely with action closed on an empty chamber and hammer down.
Shotgun: Open and empty, staged safely with 4+ rounds on person.
Start:

Gun order is shooter’s choice, except that the rifle cannot be last.

Shooter starts behind Table 1 or 2 with strong hand shading eyes.

  Shooter signifies ready by saying the line:
                      “If I can see ‘em I can hit ‘em!
Pistols:

Draw pistols in accordance with your category and engage the pistol targets from Table 1 with a Poverty sweep.  That is: P1-P2-P3-P4, P2-P3-P4, P3-P4, P4.  (Example for non-Gunfighters: P1-P2-P3-P4-P2; P3-P4-P3-P4-P4.)  Holster empty pistols.

Rifle:

Retrieve the rifle and engage the rifle targets from Table 2 with a Poverty sweep.  That is: R1-R2-R3-R4, R2-R3-R4, R3-R4, R4.  Make rifle safe.

Shotgun:

Retrieve the shotgun.  From Table 2, engage the shotgun targets in any order until down.  Make shotgun safe.

    When finished shooting, retrieve guns and proceed to the unloading table.

STAGE 5 – 

Pistols: Loaded with 5 rounds each, holstered with hammer down on an empty chamber
Rifle: Loaded with 10 rounds, staged safely with action closed on an empty chamber and hammer down.
Shotgun: Open and empty, staged safely with 4+ rounds on person.
Start:

Gun order is shooter’s choice, except that the rifle cannot be last.

Shooter starts behind Table 1 or 2 with hands poised over pistol, or pistols, or rifle, or shotgun.

Shooter signifies ready by saying the line:   

                                                                  “Fill your hand!”

   
Pistols:

Draw pistols in accordance with your category and engage the pistol targets from Table 1 by engaging each of the four static pistol targets in a sweep from either direction, then the plate rack from either direction, then any static pistol target if there is a 10th round left over.  (Example: P1-P2-P3-P4, Plates 5-4-3-2-1, P2.)  A miss on a static target or a plate left standing is a miss.  Holster empty pistols.

Rifle:

Retrieve the rifle and engage the rifle targets from Table 2 by engaging each of the four static rifle targets in a sweep from either direction, then the plate rack, then any static rifle target if there is a 10th round left over.  A miss on a static target or a plate left standing is a miss.  Make rifle safe.

Shotgun:

Retrieve the shotgun.  From Table 2, engage the shotgun targets in any order until down.  Make shotgun safe.

  When finished shooting, retrieve guns and proceed to the unloading table.

STAGE 6 –

Pistols: Loaded with 5 rounds each, holstered with hammer down on an empty chamber.
Rifle: Loaded with 10 rounds, staged safely with action closed on an empty chamber and hammer down.
Shotgun: Open and empty, staged safely with 4+ rounds on person.
Start:

Gun order is shooter’s choice, except that the rifle cannot be last.

Shooter starts behind Table 1 or 2 with hands relaxed at sides.

  Shooter signifies ready by saying the line:
                                                                 “This one’s for Double Diamond”
Pistols:

Draw pistols in accordance with your category and engage the static pistol targets from Table 1 with a Double-Tap sweep from either direction, then engage the Diamond with two shots.  (Example: P1-P1, P2-P2, P3-P3, P4-P4, Diamond, Diamond.)  Each hit on the Diamond scores a 5 second bonus.  A miss on the Diamond incurs no penalty.  Holster empty pistols.

Rifle:

Retrieve the rifle and engage the static rifle targets from Table 2 with a Double-Tap sweep from either direction, then engage the Diamond with two shots.  (Example: R4-R4, R3-R3, R2-R2, R1-R1, Diamond, Diamond.)  Each hit on the Diamond scores a 5 second bonus.  A miss on the Diamond incurs no penalty.  Make rifle safe.

Shotgun:

Retrieve the shotgun.  From Table 2, engage the shotgun targets in any order until down.  Make shotgun safe.

Note:  The minimum time you can score on this stage is one second.

  When finished shooting, retrieve guns and proceed to the unloading table.
